A New Variety of Cat-tail Willow ‘Lanyang No. 2’

Its’ leaves were oval, the anthocyanin coloration of s tem surface was medium and the tip of stem was grayed-purple. The Flower buds were spindle-shaped, pointed tip, and off-axis with the branches. The average of flower buds width is 0.9 cm wider than Chinese Shanghai variety 0.6 cm. The inflorescence was bifurcation, expand into a claw. The bud–scales color was red and the flower bud number was 33.0, as counted from the top one meter branch. The branch of Lanyang No.2 was thinner and softer than Lanyang No. 1 and it was more easily shaping operation in floral design.
