New rice variety "Hualien 23"

New rice variety "Hualien 23" was approved and named in June 29, 2012. the height in the first crop is about 87 cm, the second crop is about 74 cm; In the duration nursery, the first and second crop were 138 days and 114 days. The new variety can develop to ornamental plant, and rice has weak aroma. This variety is suitable for double-crop field cultivation.
