New Rice Variety "Hualien No. 24" was approved and named in June 29, 2012.The height in the first crop of this variety is about 109 cm, the second crop is about 105 cm; In the duration nursery, the first and second crop were 122 days and 100 days. The hectare yield of this variety is 4,065 kg in average in first crop. In second crop, the average hectare yield is about 3,564 kg. This variety is suitable for double-crop field cultivation.
