New solutions to improve weak production of chayote shoots in summer
Ji'an Township, Hualien County is an important production area of chayote shoots, accounting for about 46% of Taiwan's total output. With climate change, the growth of chayote shoots in summer is weakening, which continues to hit the industry. On September 20, the HDARES held the "Field workshop on Integrated management technology of chayote shoots against high temperature and adversity" to promote the latest experimental results, which can increase summer production by more than 2 times. It is worth recommending for industrial applications.
