Early pomelo harvesting technique results announcement
The HDRES of the Ministry of Agriculture has expanded the promotion of early pomelo harvesting techniques in Ruisui Township. By mid-August this year, the quality of the pomelos already surpasses the standards of commercially available brands, with the fruit being exceptionally juicy and having a high juice content. Harvesting can begin on August 20th, 18 days earlier than the traditional "White Dew" period. This early harvesting technique helps farmers avoid typhoon risks, provides more flexibility in scheduling harvest labor, extends the sales period, and ensures superior quality, leading to greater benefits for pomelo farmers.
