Experiencing the Pulse of Agriculture and Its Connection to Everyday Life: Foreign Young Farmers Visit Yilan’s Nanbeiguan Market
In an effort to enhance the agricultural management and operational skills of foreign young farmers while deepening their understanding of Yilan’s agricultural industry, the Hualien District Agricultural Research and Extension Station of the Ministry of Agriculture joined forces with the Yilan County Farmers’ Association to organize a visit and exchange event on September 24, 2024. Six foreign young farmers who are currently interning at various farms in Yilan took part in the event. They all remarked that they benefited greatly from the experience, gained deeper insights into Taiwanese agriculture, and look forward to participating in more related learning activities in the future to further develop their agricultural knowledge and skills.
