Come Try the ‘Coarse-Net’ Melons! High-Beauty Japanese-Style Coarse-Net Cantaloupes Trialed Successfully in Yilan, Stunning Release
In recent years, the HDARES successfully selected domestic melon varieties suited for cultivation in Yilan that are comparable to high-end imported Japanese cantaloupes, such as “Arthur King No. 20” and “Angel’s Heart.” For the first time, they managed to produce high-appearance Japanese-style coarse-net cantaloupes under open-field, harsh conditions—creating a new production model for muskmelons.
