In response to the three-day interval between Bailu and the Mid-Autumn Festival this year, the pressure on farmers to harvest and sell is extremely high. Since last year, the HDARES has cooperated with five farmers in Ruisui Township, including Luo Feng, Zhu Azhong, Li Shenxing, Yuan Maosong and You Zhenwei, to conduct demonstrations, and tested the results on August 9 in Bailu one month earlier. The results show that the fruit quality of the demonstration orchards without water in early August has reached 11.5 degrees or more, exceeding the brand Wendan standard (10.5 degrees). The sweetness of the demonstration orchard was also higher than that of the control group, confirming the effect of early harvest technology on improving the sweetness of early harvested Bendan fruit. The acidity content of the demonstration orchards was also below 0.60%, which was lower than that of the control group (0.62%).
