Daylily variety Hualien No. 5 ‘Yellow Swan’

The open flower diameter is ranged from 9.7 to 12.3 cm, lies between medium and large size. The inner petals have wavy edge and curl tip. The scape is stout with an average of more than five branches. The number of flower buds per scape is more than 24. The plant begins to bloom in late April, and fully flowering in May. Plants have secondary bolting habit, thus the flowering time can sustain to September. The abundant flowers and bright yellow color are quite attractive, that make it suitable for using as a garden or bedding plant.
